Directions from Atlanta
Take I - 75 North to I-575 North, which becomes route 5. Turn left (west) on route 60 toward Mineral Bluff. Go 1.5 miles to Mineral Bluff, then turn right on 60 Spur. Go approximately 11 miles to a stop sign, junction with 19/74. Turn right (east) toward Murphy, NC. Continue on 19/74 through the Nantahala Gorge. At the intersection of 28 and 74, turn left onto 28. Go approximately 2 miles directly to Lake Fontana.
Take I-85 North to US 441 North. Just north of Dillsboro, NC, take Hwy 74 West. Travel past Bryson City to the intersection of 28 and 74. Stay right onto 28. Go approximately 1/4 mile. Turn right to Almond Boat Dock.
